فیلم هایی که با عنوان های آبادان، آبادانی،اکبر، اکبر آبادانی در اینترنت پخش شده‌اند همگی برگرفته از فیلم‌های پیمان ماندگار هستند. پیمان ماندگار فیلم‌های زیادی ساخته‌ است که در بیشتر این فیلم‌ها اکبر اودود هم بازی کرده‌اند. اکبر اودود بازیگری طنازی است که با بهره‌گیری از فرهنگ کوچه و بازار مردم جنوب صحنه‌های طنز و خنده دار خلاقانه می‌سازد.

پیمان ماندگار در کارنامه هنری خود سه مجموعه‌ی داستانی با محوریت زندگی مردم جنوب کشور به خصوص آبادان ساخته است. پیمان آنها را برای سیمای خوزستان و سیمای آبادان ساخته است و در آنها پخش شده‌اند.

داستان فیلم: در هر قسمت از فیلم یک داستان دنبال می‌شود و معمولاً از موضوعاتی که در زمان ساخت فیلم باب بوده‌اند استفاده شده است مثلاً اوایل دهه‌ی 90 موضوعاتی مانند کامپیوتر، اینترنت، فال و فالگیری، شرکت‌های هرمی، جنگ با آمریکا و یا مثلاً موضوع فوتبال و برزیل که همیشه در آبادان داغ بوده اند مورد توجه بوده‌اند.
